It features a 7-inch Continuum bass/midrange driver, designed to provide deep, controlled bass and accurate midrange performance, along with a 1-inch Diamond Dome tweeter, a hallmark of Bowers & Wilkins' most elite loudspeakers, offering unparalleled high-frequency detail and resolution.
The CWM8.5 D incorporates a fully enclosed back box (purchased seperately), which ensures consistent acoustic performance regardless of wall cavity conditions and helps isolate sound from adjacent rooms.
Aesthetically, the speaker features a minimal, trimless design with a magnetically attached grille, blending seamlessly into any environment.
