The KEF Ci160QR is a high-performance 6.5-inch in-ceiling speaker designed for premium audio installations in both residential and commercial spaces. As part of KEF’s Custom Installation Q Series, the Ci160QR is meticulously engineered using advanced acoustic modeling to deliver outstanding audio clarity, wide dispersion and seamless architectural integration.
At its core, the Ci160QR features KEF’s signature Uni-Q driver array, pairing a 6.5-inch aluminum cone woofer with a 0.75-inch vented aluminum dome tweeter mounted at the acoustic center of the woofer. This concentric design acts as a single point source, enabling remarkably even sound dispersion and an immersive, natural audio experience throughout the listening area.
The speaker’s Ultra-Thin Bezel (UTB) construction and magnetic, paintable grille ensure a minimalist visual footprint that blends effortlessly into any ceiling. Additionally, the Ci160QR is moisture-resistant, making it suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, or covered outdoor areas without compromising performance.
