The KEF Ci5160REFM-THX is a flagship in-wall speaker engineered for uncompromising audio performance in premium home cinemas and luxury audio installations. Part of KEF’s Reference Series and certified to THX Ultra, the Ci5160REFM-THX brings studio-grade accuracy and depth to built-in speaker applications, merging cutting-edge technology with refined architectural integration.
At the core of the Ci5160REFM-THX is KEF’s 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which places a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter concentrically within a 5-inch midrange driver. This design delivers detailed, coherent audio with remarkable imaging and broad, even dispersion across the listening area. Supporting the mid and high frequencies are four 6.5-inch bass drivers, purpose-built for powerful, low-distortion performance with exceptional transient control and low-frequency extension.
Developed using KEF’s most advanced simulation and acoustic measurement techniques, the Ci5160REFM-THX offers flat, uncolored frequency response and consistent performance throughout a room, ideal for large-format media environments where accuracy is critical. The speaker is housed in a rigid, acoustically inert aluminum baffle and features a sealed back box to minimise sound leakage and preserve sonic integrity.
Perfect for reference-level theaters, critical listening rooms and high-performance distributed audio, the Ci5160REFM-THX offers the highest fidelity KEF has ever delivered in an architectural format. Installation is supported by a precision mounting system and sleek magnetic grille, ensuring a clean, seamless finish in any interior.
